Manager - IT Services & Infrastructure Support

  • Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing both IT Services and Infrastructure Support. Ensuring ????? ????? performance and high levels of systems availability, this role will ensure the delivery of high quality, innovative and cost-effective technology strategies and solutions which support internal and external clients.

     

    Knowledge and Experience / Essential Selection Criteria  

    • Tertiary qualifications in technology, business or a related discipline and relevant IT management experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure technology including systems administration and operating platforms of servers (Microsoft , IBM AIX & i-series, desktops, WYSE terminals, networks, telecomminications (including PABX, VoIP).
    • Deep and broad understanding of the business and technology strategies in which the organisation operates.
    • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
    • Ability to provide strategic thought leadership.
    • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative manner.
    • Previous implementation of IT Service Management methodologies (or ITIL Certification) would be an advantage.
    • Commitment and capacity to implement EEO, OH&S, ethical practices and cultural diversity policies and practices.
